One is too less and three is a crowd!! So "double", "two" or "twin" gets crowned.Ok ok.You really don’t have to scrutinize between the lines rather words, to admit that double words are part of our conversation. They are like raisins in a sweet or curry leaves in a spicy cuisine. They give the needed flavor or essence of tacit emotion underlying a dialogue. Sometimes they are genuine assurance, sometimes they are genuine irritation! Twins that hop and play in my daily dose of conversations are Ok Ok, fine fine, really really, mh mh. And then idiotic chari boksi, with her immaculate stupidity and ne plus ultra frolic started being sad sad, happy sad, sad happy and finally happy happy. For some strong unknown reasons, raisins in our conversations kept emerging ...more and more...! I found it be curry leaves or cashews though! Empowered with this vocabulary, tongue was happy happy because now it felt that it can communicate aptly what its friend, dumb heart intended. But you know..grammarians, purists, anti- redundants, and the entire realm of language grid doesn't share the same enthusiasm as us. This post is more than right context to pay tribute to the most popular double world "Win-Win". I'm sure everyone would have used this. But we use it very differently and this is how we use:Win-Win: Both the parties get the benefit equally (plz..don't bring in equity and play spoilsport)WIN-win: Emphasis on the pronunciation of only one WIN. It means one fellow gets the lion share and the other....you know it;)Isn’t it the right way to use words? So next time, if this pops out in your conversation use, do read in between the words and ensure its win-win if not lion's share!! bye bye;)
P.S: Lively, gay and dancing multitude from the land of Brahmaputra gifted me a unique evening. Melodious music in a lovely language (my brain recognizes only 20 sounds) soothed my heart and mind, bubbling with million feelings and thoughts. It was nice. I met my dear devil's mom!Terror got unleashed...heheh.

Add life to your age not age to your life! Age is a matter of mind, if you don't mind, it does not matter! And my dad turns 60 this March ;) It is very painful to know that he cannot run, dance or do the things he used to without difficulty. Doctors told me his problem is not a disease but a physical condition or state of vertebra. Wear and tear of vertebra and the corresponding nerve- pressing sends a shock like pain to his head and also makes him go dizzy. Now he has to live with it, restricting his body and head movements. I was happy for he had come to meet me but was
terribly sad when I started thinking about his age and physical state and his life. He was a busy bee all his life. He had neglected his health and nutrition badly. I have never met anyone who lives with a character as pure and values as strong as my dad's. Many times I had felt it was impractical and unfit for this world but slowly I'm realizing the importance, its relevance and my ignorance. I really cannot express how great he is for me. This weekend, after the hospital visit, I had a very emotional and touching conversation with him after long long time. I wished it never ends. And when asked him to recall all his accomplishments in his life, his compassionate and humble words moisted my eyes. Making my heart heavy, his words commuicated something unique this time, about life, relationships, success and Death with capital D. I cheered him up a lot, i cracked jokes on age, life and on self. I inspired him and added "Why so serious?" For the first time, I roared with undisputed confidence what I would do and also that I was really proud of him. My maturity and confidence gave him assurance, i guess.
