Since May 31st, 2008, it has been very strong and intense life. Emotions, unprecedented, both in quantity and quality awashed me. Learnings, though painful, were the heart of the matters of head and heart alike. As usual, i have tried very different, unique and few fatally adventurous things but adventures of consciousness tops it all. All these things were divorced from logic and immediate utility. Nonetheless, it made me....contemplate, endure, broaden and deepen my understanding of Life: world, people, man-woman *ships, relationships, stream of experiences, conversations, acts, and natural, well thought and fabricated ensuing responses; punctuated by episodes of choicelessness, randomness, uncontrolled and dismay. Time tests you and relationships. What i embrace is "Balance" "Dynamic Assimilation of differentiation and integration" and "Progress".Well well well its enough from the X axis.
On a serious note, last six months of mine witnessed 7 weddings of my accquaintances. God, bless them with abundant love, iota of cold logic and boundless happiness of all sorts:) Altogether, there was another crisis at office, well anticipated one. There was lot of power struggle-driven re-org in my office. I have learnt a lot about managerial economics, organizational dynamics, company politics, and tactics and strategies in general mangement during these times. What a lovely time it was!!! As we all know that there is no education like adversity!!
There was breather: country where everything is dependent and decided based upon lunar moves launched Chandrayaan. I'm proud of this achievement and wish this augurs well for lunar-calendrians. Lo and behold, there was bad news pouring in from every possible corner of the world. Economy crisis, recession and phobias of depression. This wrinkle on the face of time in this hotter, flatter and smaller world shifted my thoughts and understanding on global realities. Financial systems, world economic forums, G20s, macro and micro economics, capitalism and liberalism driven markets and nations, strategies and policy makings and makers, creative capitalism and sustanability models based on wholistic and systemic thinking, approaches and life-centered decisions...all boiled down to "Life on this curved globe". I can see its impact, it is deep and severe than i had anticipated. Yes, my friends are on the verge of losing their jobs. Sad news may hit me anytime, but i keep diverting them away from reality just for the sake of giving them respite. No, I'm not in the Plato's cave but I believe in the intuition and infinite human energy to face and tame anything. As John Keynes said (thats what my uncle echoed) " Severe the recession, faster the recovery", I'm very optimistic and good news is that one would never get a chance in a lifetime to learn about management, economics, international markets, social psychology and global dyanamics, governments and their in/fidelity with economies like the we are blessed with, now.
PS: I had a capitalist, catholic, clever and charming "bestest friend" (whats there in a word), with whom I used to debate and discuss endlessly with loads of love, wit and emotion. But she is cosumed by the...:) Lets see how populism fares in these times. 57% of India's GDP is driven by consumption!!Hope you got it:)
