Good Times

It is such a pleasure to know and share so many good tidings. I am so happy to see my darling sisters and ALL my friends immensely happy and well settled. Prasad not only became India Head but also the Director for Spanish solar company. I cannot write how proud and delighted I am by this great feat. I know that he will take this company to great heights. I wish him all the very bestest!! Then comes naughty Ricci, who have found his type of place in Madison, Wisconsin and is happily settled there. I travel along with him through photos he shares. It is so nice to see him happy, content and successful. I wish that he gets award from the CEO this time too...for HATRICK sake!!
Raja, bestest friend more than my cousin, now is flooded by so many offers inspite of being on board to Germany for 3 long years. Though I miss him, I dont want him to come back for another 3 years but for the wedding (mine or his!!). It gives me such a relief to see him going places literally n figuratively, and make so much money, experience and growth. He deserves a lot more and want to see go lot farther. Dearest Balli, KrishnaMohan, smiling buddha, successfully completed MBA from the top business school of UK. Its a rejoice to know that he is a consultant in world's major telecom giant and is home now. I did miss him a lot last 15 months. Suman, my silent and undecipherable friend, whose professional life always caused discontent for me gave a super positive jerk. At last..at last he found very satisfying job, big bucks n the right place. From now on, his life should better be bed of roses. All his problems are on the verge of disappearance. Pri, happiest and healthiest friend, is too busy playing with Riddu blissfully. She too is blessed with all the good things of life and joyfully settled. Should i tell how much I miss her
when she leaves India to Shanghai??? Other mischievous devil, and my insane conversations partner Kako the CD, whoz getting married (FINALLY approved a guy..hehhe) to Ankur, honest and good chap. I am very happy for her. So she too will leave India for Singapore. Last but not the least is my cousin Ravi, who has found his soulmate and is getting married in another 25 days. Its a celebration. I must tell how greatly he changed the course of his business from the painful start-up to current halcyon times.

What a way to celebrate the ending months of 2010!! What more I can ask for..than these wonderful times and happy gifts from my kith n kin :))

Scarecrow

Once I said to a scarecrow, "You must be tired of standing in this lonely field.”
And he said, "The joy of scaring is a deep and lasting on, and I never tire of it."
Said I, after a minute of thought, "It is true; for I too have known that joy."
Said he, "Only those who are stuffed with straw can know it."
Then I left him, not knowing whether he had complimented or belittled me.
A year passed, during which the scarecrow turned philosopher. And when I passed by him again I saw two crows building a nest under his hat!!!

(One of my most favorite stories told by Khalil Gibran)
